Friday approaches and the Department of Immigration and Australian embassy have posted information to Australia immigration website indicating tthat the new Skilled Occupation List (SOL) is expected to be announced by this coming Friday, 30th April.
Q 4 When will the new SOL come into effect?
It is expected that the new SOL will be announced by 30 April 2010 and placed on the Department of Immigration and Citizenship website and take effect from mid-2010. Publication of the new SOL in advance of it taking affect is designed to assist clients.

This is good news for anyone in the visas Australian immigration process who has not lodged their application as yet to get their a application into tDIAC before mid-2010. Preparing visas application under the rules set by the Australian authorities can be complicated so be sure to get some advice and guidance before embarking on this process.
