Subclass 475 (regional & provisional) visa
Skilled – Regional Sponsored Visa subclass 475

The Skilled – Regional Sponsored Visa subclass 475 is a three-year provisional visa requiring the applicant to meet a passmark of 100 in the points test.
The main applicant must either be:

sponsored by a relative living in a designated area in Australia; or
-
nominated by a State or Territory government
Designated ares where a relative as at included:

NSW – whole State, except Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong;

Victoria – whole State;
-
Queensland – whole State, except Brisbane, but including Gold Coast

ACT – whole Territory
-
WA – whole State, except Perth
-
SA – whole State;
-
NT – whole Territory
-
Tasmania – whole State
The nomination process by State or Territory government is similar to the subclass 176 visa, the main difference is that applicants for the sbuclass 475 must indicate that the time of the application they have State/Territory nomination.

Visa Conditions related the the subclass 475 regional skilled visa:-
Condition 8549 – Designated area sponsored applicants are required to remain in a “designated area” though not necessarily the same desingated area as their relative sponsor.
Condition 8539 – State or Territory nominated applicants are required to remain in “regional or low population growth metropolitan area”.
